C. BRUCE HEILMAN, Hanshi, 10th Dan Karate, 10th Dan Kobudo, 3rd Dan Ju-Jitsu. An Okinawa Kenpo Karate-Kobudo practitioner, he is a past student of Seikichi Odo, 10th Dan, Karate & Kobudo, Okinawa, Japan. Hanshi Heilman is a noted author and President of the International Karate Kobudo Federation, and a Founding Member & Vice-President of the World Union of Martial Arts Federations. He also serves as Style Head for Okinawa Kenpo and Chairman of the Kobudo Board for the United States Association of Martial Artists; Vice-President of the Yudansha Kobujitsu Karate Doh Federation; Director of the International Shorin Ryu Karate Kobudo Federation; Technical Advisior to the International Ryukyu Karate Research Society; and member of the International Martial Arts Federation. He was also a past U.S. and International Representative and Board Member of Master Odo's Okinawa Kenpo Karate-Kobudo Federation. He was inducted into the ALLIANCE HALL OF FAME in 1995, the Pennsylvania Karate HALL OF FAME in 1998, and into the United States Association of Martial Artists Hawkes International Society in 2014.
